The Dec. 15, 2026 application deadline appears only in the scholarship text on the financial aid page — the Apply Now page itself gives no deadline. Plan to apply by Dec. 15 and confirm with admissions. Also, families who attend the Nov. 8 open house receive a waiver for the $90 application fee.

Tuition and financial aid

  • Tuition for 2026–27: Pre-K $18,050 (Pre-K tuition includes after-care until 5 p.m.); Grades K–12 $22,650. The Pre-K page shows a different figure (“$18.650”), so confirm the Pre-K amount with the school.
  • Application fee: $90, non-refundable (waived for open house attendees). An enrollment deposit is required; the amount is not listed.
  • Tuition Refund Plan: $227 for 2026–27, required for the 2-payment and 10-payment plans. Families buy a laptop for Grades 5–12 (from around $1,000); uniforms, high school textbooks and AP exam fees are extra.
  • Financial aid is need-based and applied for through Clarity ($65 fee). Deadlines: Nov. 15, 2026 for returning families and Feb. 15, 2027 for new families.
  • Scholarships: the Maryknoll Spirit Scholarship ($5,000 a year) for Grade 9 entrants nominated by participating Catholic schools, and the Noblesse Oblige Scholarship ($22,650) for one senior.

Applying from outside Hawaiʻi

  • Maryknoll’s website does not mention international applicants, F-1 visas or I-20s, boarding, ESL or English test requirements — ask admissions before applying.
  • Applicants for Grades 4–12 must attend an interview session on campus.
  • The International Programs page covers exchanges, service trips and sister schools, not international admission.

How Academia Tutor School can help

Our Private School Entrance Exam Prep program prepares children for the parts of admission that are hard to practice at home: the small-group observation for Pre-K and K, the math, reading and writing assessment for Grades 1–3, and the interview and SSAT for older students. Lessons run Monday to Friday after school, private or in groups of up to five. In 2026, our students were admitted to 23 schools.

No tutoring program can promise admission, and we do not. Our goal is for your child to walk in calm and ready to show who they are.
