Which grades can you enter?
- The school accepts applications for Keiki 3s through Grade 6, and every grade is an entry point.
- Because the school adds students in Keiki 3s, Pre-K and Kindergarten, it can accept a few new students in these grades each year. Other grades typically have a few openings.
- Birthday guideline: July 31. A child must be 3 by July 31 to enroll in Keiki 3s that fall, 4 by July 31 for Pre-K, “and so on” — so 5 by July 31 for Kindergarten.
- Preference goes to siblings, children of faculty and alumni, and members of the Church of the Holy Nativity.

Dec. 1 is a priority deadline: after it, applications are reviewed only as space allows, and with one class per grade, space is limited — Keiki 3s, Pre-K and Kindergarten are where the school adds students. Also check the July 31 birthday guideline: it decides which grade your child applies for.
Tuition and financial aid
- Tuition for 2026–27 (from the school’s 2026–2027 tuition sheet): Keiki 3s 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. $14,321; Keiki 3s 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. $21,338; Pre-K – Grade 6 (8 a.m. – 3 p.m.) $21,984. Some links on the school’s site still open the 2025–26 schedule, so make sure you are reading the 2026–27 sheet.
- Application fee: $120 for all grades. A $500 deposit is paid with the enrollment packet; it is non-refundable and credited toward tuition.
- Optional Tuition Refund Plan (annual payment plan only): $323 – $495. Handling fee: $65 for the semi-annual plan, $170 for the monthly plan.
- Before-school care for K–6 (7:00 – 7:30 a.m.) is included in tuition. After-school care costs $725 per quarter.
- Financial aid is need-based, through the Clarity application ($60 fee). The deadline, with supplemental documents, is March 1 (no year given). Need is not considered in admission decisions. The school also lists Episcopal Diocese scholarships, Pauahi Keiki Scholars and Preschool Open Doors for preschool, and military assistance through Child Care Aware of America.
Applying from outside Hawaiʻi
- The school’s website does not mention international students, F-1 visas, boarding, ESL or English test requirements — call admissions at (808) 373-3232.
- Tours are offered in person or virtually by appointment, which helps families who are not yet in Hawaiʻi. The classroom activity session takes place on campus.
